Ellsworth Awarded IHS Ultrasound Contract at Pine Ridge Hospital

Ellsworth, LLC is honored to announce that the Indian Health Service (IHS) has awarded us a contract to provide Ultrasound Technologist Services at the Pine Ridge IHS Hospital in Pine Ridge, South Dakota, part of the Pine Ridge Service Unit in the IHS Great Plains Area. Under contract number 75H70627P00002, Ellsworth will provide up to three full-time-equivalent ultrasound technologists.

Performance begins November 1, 2026, and with all option periods exercised, the contract runs through October 31, 2030. The award, signed October 28, 2026, appears in the federal government’s public spending record on USAspending.gov, which lists Ellsworth, LLC as the recipient.

Serving Pine Ridge and the Oglala Lakota Nation

Pine Ridge is home to the Oglala Lakota people, and the hospital there serves a large, rural community where timely, accurate diagnostic imaging makes a real difference. Our technologists will support emergency services, inpatient and outpatient care, obstetrical care, and radiology department operations. That’s care that touches families at some of the most important moments of their lives.

For us, this work is personal. Our CEO, Michael Woestehoff (Navajo), has family roots in the Great Plains area like in Rosebud, so serving Pine Ridge feels like serving family.

• Shiprock and Santa Fe, with placements supporting IHS patient care
• Working alongside a New Mexico Pueblo’s 638 program
